In recent years, obesity has become a growing concern for young people in China. In order to combat this epidemic, some parents have sent their children to the “lose it” boot camp – a children’s weight loss clinic that offers an array of activities designed to help young people shed excess pounds.
At the boot camp, children are provided with a comprehensive program of both conventional and innovative exercises and activities that are specifically tailored for them. This includes not only traditional physical activities such as cardio and strength exercises, but also unique approaches such as “play-therapy” and other alternative treatments.
The results of the boot camp have been overwhelmingly positive: children who attend these camps typically lose 20-30% of their body weight within an 8-week period, while gaining confidence and self-esteem in the process.
