We remember the game “Miracle on Ice”. And it surely was. During the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, New York, the US hockey team beat the Soviets.
The US Team, made of college players, was considered the biggest underdog in the Finals. At the time, the Soviet team was the four-time defending gold-medal winning team.

He had a knack for scoring key goals. He scored two against the Soviet Union in the 1980 Finals.
