On September 11, 2004, a historic event was held in New York City. Hosted by renowned actor and activist Ed Begley Jr., the “town hall meeting” featured an incredible line-up of speakers, including David Ray Griffin, David vonKleist, Barry Zwicker, Webster Tarpley, Kristina Borjesson, Karl Schwartz, Jeff King, Paul Thompson, Jenna Orkin, Christopher Scheer, Dr Robert Bowman and Christopher Bollyn. This amazing gathering was documented in the documentary “Confronting the Evidence” and it is an absolute must-watch for anyone interested in current affairs and events that have shaped our society for better or worse.
At this groundbreaking event – which saw a high turnout of eager attendees – some of the greatest minds from all corners of society gathered to discuss some of the most pressing issues of our time. The topics discussed included government accountability and transparency; intelligence failures leading up to 9/11; media distortion; and how to hold those responsible accountable for their actions. With such a diverse range of speakers on board, it can be argued that no other documentary could ever provide such an in-depth analysis of these complex subjects.

The speakers at the town hall meeting brought with them unique perspectives based on their own personal experiences. For example, Christopher Scheer exposed his experience as one of the few journalists who attempted to uncover the truth behind 9/11 – while John Prados spoke about how government secrecy has become increasingly commonplace since then. These stories offer invaluable insight into some topics that are still largely unexplored today.
Watching “Confronting the Evidence” is a must if you want to understand more about the events leading up to 9/11 and gain some valuable knowledge from those who experienced them first hand.
