Clandestine employment of Indians in Italy

The plight of Indian agricultural laborers in Italy is a much-ignored issue in the European country. “A Fight for Dignity” is a documentary that brings the horrors of this exploitative system to light. The film offers an unflinching dive into the lives of these migrants, highlighting their struggles to eke out a living in a foreign land.

Directed by Margherita Bettoni, the documentary features interviews with experts and those directly affected by this injustice. Viewers are confronted with the stories of individuals who are paid an average of three euros per hour, working shifts as long as 14 hours. “A Fight for Dignity” leaves no stone unturned in its quest to expose the dehumanising trafficking of these workers while demanding a human response to this issue.
