When it comes to communism, many people think that the origin for communism is from Russia. In fact, there are other countries that have implemented communism even before Russia, and one of the most famous, and biggest among them is China. Even today, China is considered a communist country, as the country is slowly trying to transition to capitalism.
For 18 years, the West was excluded from China, as the communist leaders in the country were trying to isolate China from the modern world. Nowadays, China is looking to be peaceful and loving country.
The documentary, “China – the origins of communism” takes you through a journey from the mid 1800’s to the mid 1960’s via rare images and witnesses of what happened in the country during several civil wars.
