Syria’s war has forever changed the lives of millions. According to the United Nations, 1.5 million Syrians have been left handicapped, with over 80,000 having undergone limb amputations. Among the many victims is Majida Al-Omar, a 10-year-old girl who lost her right leg to an airstrike in east Aleppo.
