Beer is a widely consumed alcoholic beverage throughout the world. Global production figures continue to rise every year.

In 2018, global beer consumption reached 188.79 million kiloliters, which is approximately 292.2 billion 633ml bottles.

Czech Republic leads the way in beer consumption with 143l per capita. But you will be surprised by the second country on the list. Namibia with 108l per capita is just before Austria, Germany, and Poland.
