Reggie Yates, host of the documentary series The Insider, has traveled to one of the world’s most dangerous and hazardous sites – Accra’s Agbogbloshie in Ghana. This area is well known for being home to one of the largest e-waste dumps in the world.
Yates joins a group of “burner boys” working on the bottom rung of the ladder, uncovering first-hand what life is like for those who struggle to make ends meet on this hazardous site. Sadly, the illegal dumping of e-waste has led to these people being exposed to extremely toxic chemicals that have even been deemed as “the most toxic place on earth” by some.
