here is a Rhino in My House” tells the inspiring story of John and Judy Travers, a Zimbabwean couple devoted to saving one of the rarest mammals on Earth from extinction. Based at Imire Safari Ranch, their efforts take an unexpected turn when they become responsible for the care of an orphaned baby rhino, a tiny warthog and a hyper hyena.
Judy Travers had no choice but to undertake the monumental task of raising all three animals in her own home. Despite many difficulties, she manages to create an environment full of love and friendship which would prove to be essential for their survival. This touching display of passion and dedication gives us hope that with enough hard work species that are close to extinction can still be saved.
The documentary follows every step in this incredible journey, capturing raw moments of joy as well as heart-breaking ones filled with tragedy. The film offers an intimate look into the daily lives of these endangered animals – something that could easily disappear if we don’t act now. It’s a must-watch for anyone who cares about wildlife conservation – so make sure you watch it soon!
