Only two celebrities can be tied to Brighton and Hove Albion in a published source: Norman Cook, better known as Fatboy Slim, and the musician Rag’n’Bone Man. A Premier League feature published on 16 March 2026 names both, but it does not name six people, and it does not report any of them attending a match. So the claim that six celebrities support Brighton can’t be confirmed as written. The question of whether any of them have been seen at a game is a separate matter, and the same source does not answer it.
What the Premier League feature actually says
The Premier League’s feature, “Who is each Premier League club’s most famous fan?” by David Coverdale, covers every club in the division. Its Brighton entry names Cook as the club’s leading famous supporter and lists Rag’n’Bone Man among its other famous fans. The feature gives no further names for Brighton. Anyone quoting a six-name list should be able to point to a source for each name, and this feature supplies only two.
Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim): the strongest documented case
Cook is the only name with a detailed history in the feature. According to the Premier League, he has supported Brighton since moving to the city for college in the 1980s. He has been a club shareholder and sponsor, and he played the first concert at the Amex Stadium when it opened in 2012. After Brighton’s Europa League win against AEK Athens in December 2023, he performed a special DJ set in Athens.
The feature also quotes Cook from a BBC interview: “It’d be too much of a cliché to say we’ve come a long, long way together, but we kind of have.” The article does not give the date of that interview, so it should be treated as an undated remark.

Those details establish a long-running association with the club, and some of it is financial and public. They do not establish that Cook has attended particular matches. The feature does not say he has been in the stands, and the reports of his Amex and Athens appearances are concert and DJ events, not match attendance.
Rag’n’Bone Man: named, but without detail
Rag’n’Bone Man appears in the feature only as one of Brighton’s other famous fans. It gives no information about when his support began, whether he follows the team regularly, or whether he has been to a game. He is a legitimate name for the list of supporters, but the source does not allow more than that.

Supporting the club is not the same as being seen at a match
The title asks whether these people have been seen at a match, and that is a different claim from being a supporter. A fan can follow a club for decades without being photographed at a game, and a stadium appearance at a concert is not the same as watching a fixture. Before accepting a sighting, check for:
- A dated photograph or video showing the person inside the stadium on a match day, with the fixture identifiable.
- A report from the club, the Premier League, or a reputable news outlet that places the person at a specific match.
- A direct statement by the person describing attendance at games, rather than general enthusiasm for the club.
Shirts, social posts, and visits to the stadium for non-match events do not on their own confirm attendance at a match.

If you are building a longer list
Any name beyond Cook and Rag’n’Bone Man needs its own source, and the strongest sources are those that name the person as a supporter directly. Forum posts, fan lists, and celebrity appearances at unrelated events are not reliable substitutes. If you add a name, record which of the three types of evidence above supports it, and keep the supporter claim and the match-attendance claim separate.
