The result
The Wyatt Sicks entered as champions and left with the titles still in their possession. According to the Yahoo Sports report, published through Uncrowned, the match was a TLC stipulation contest, meaning tables, ladders and chairs were all part of the match. The title was not changed hands, so the champions’ reign continued past the event.

The six teams
Six teams competed, which is unusual for a tag team title match and was a central feature of the booking. The field was:
- The Wyatt Sicks (Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy), the defending champions and winners
- Andrade and Rey Fenix
- #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa)
- Fraxiom (Axiom and Nathan Frazer)
- Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin)
- The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford)
Every team other than The Wyatt Sicks failed to take the championship in this match.
