Touch Me is an outlandish sci-fi/horror film directed by Addison Heimann, and the headline reported about it says its cast was challenged to face the weird. The available reporting establishes the film’s genre framing and its themes of love and codependence. It does not establish which cast members were involved in any challenge, what that challenge consisted of, or how anyone reacted to it.
Where the headline comes from
The headline, “This Frightens Me and I Can’t Stop Thinking About It”: ‘Touch Me’ Challenged Its Cast To Face the Weird, originates with Collider. A copy appeared on Filmibee on March 28, 2025. That Filmibee page states that the story was auto-aggregated by a computer program and was not created or edited by Filmibee. The link from the copy to the original Collider article did not load, so the account below rests on the text as reproduced, not on the full original interview.
What is established about the film
The reproduced text supports three specific points:
- Genre: described as “The new outlandish sci-fi/horror film from the director of ‘Hypochondriac’.”
- Themes: the film is said to explore love and codependence.
- Director: Addison Heimann, named in the reproduced interview text.
Beyond these lines, the reproduced material offers no plot summary, cast list, runtime, or production credits.

What the headline does and does not tell you
The headline frames the cast as having been pushed toward unusual, uncomfortable material. Read it as the outlet’s framing of the interview, not as a verified description of a specific exercise, scene, or set procedure. The phrase “can’t stop thinking about it” is a reaction the headline attributes to the piece’s subject matter; the reproduced text does not supply a quotation from any cast member or filmmaker to confirm who said it or in what context.
What remains unconfirmed
- Which cast members took part in the challenge.
- What the challenge involved, and how it was structured.
- How cast members described the experience, in their own words.
- The film’s plot, full cast, runtime, and release date.
- Current regional availability, and whether an authorized home-video or streaming release exists.
Until the original Collider interview is read in full, anything more specific about the cast’s experience would be guesswork.
