Although the December 12, 2025 Collider headline framed her return as an opportunity after four years, later coverage indexed about NCIS Season 23 reports that Wickersham returned as Bishop. That establishes a Season 23 appearance; it does not, by itself, confirm another appearance or a continuing role.
Which NCIS character does the headline mean?
It refers to Ellie Bishop, the former NCIS analyst portrayed by Emily Wickersham. The headline “NCIS Has the Opportunity To Finally Bring Back This Beloved Character After 4 Years” was indexed as a Collider article dated December 12, 2025. IDCrawl’s Emily Wickersham news index also catalogs later coverage of her return as Bishop in Season 23.
