The MTV series ran for two seasons, from 2008 to 2010, but its cast changed during the first season. The available updates are uneven: Whitney Port has documented post-show milestones, while the latest sourced accounts for Roxy Olin and Erin Lucas are older snapshots. Current whereabouts and careers could not be verified for several other prominent cast members.
What was The City about?
The City was an MTV spin-off of The Hills centered on Port’s move from Los Angeles to New York and her efforts to build a fashion career. TV Insider lists the series as a 2008–2010, two-season run with 36 episodes and identifies Port, Olivia Palermo, Erin Kaplan, Roxy Olin, Jay Lyon, and others among its cast. TV Insider’s series page provides the series and cast listing.
Why did the cast change?
The show did not follow one unchanged lineup. Its original group included Port, Palermo, Lyon, Erin Lucas, and Adam Senn. Olin and Kaplan joined after Lyon, Lucas, and Senn left during the first season. The cast chronology and Port’s on-show work at Diane von Furstenberg and later Kelly Cutrone’s People’s Revolution are summarized in the series overview; those workplace details describe the show’s historical storyline, not anyone’s current job.
Where are the cast members now?
Whitney Port
Us Weekly’s update, dated January 15, 2026, reports that Port launched her fashion line Whitney Eve in 2009, married former The City producer Tim Rosenman in November 2015, and welcomed their first child in July 2017. These are dated post-show milestones, not a complete account of her current work or residence. See Us Weekly’s cast update.

Roxy Olin
Fashionista reported in 2016 that Olin was still acting at the time. The article noted her role as Michelle McGregor on Brothers & Sisters from 2007 to 2011 and a credit on Sleepy Hollow. This establishes a historical career snapshot, not her present-day occupation. Fashionista’s 2016 update is the dated source.
Erin Lucas
In 2016, Fashionista reported that Lucas had hosted Sex & Relationships on Current TV through 2013 and was living in Los Angeles when that article appeared. Neither fact verifies her current work or location. The same Fashionista article provides that earlier snapshot.

Can you still watch or buy The City?
TV Insider’s listing identifies The City as a Paramount+ reality series and includes a “Where to Watch” section, but availability can change by date and region.
