The “four-month marriage” refers to Zac Brown and Kelly Yazdi’s August 2023 wedding and their December announcement that they were divorcing. A July 2025 report said a court upheld their prenuptial agreement, while Yazdi publicly said she was being burdened by legal fees. Neither a verified cost for Brown nor a settlement amount is established in the available reporting. The relationship update in the original headline is also outdated: the Los Angeles Times reported that Brown and Kendra Scott married in May 2026.
Why is Zac Brown’s four-month marriage still in the news?
The short marriage itself is not evidence of a particular financial cost. The continuing interest stems from reports of divorce litigation after the couple announced their separation, including a July 2025 report that a court upheld their prenuptial agreement and a separate public statement by Yazdi about legal fees.

What does the prenup ruling establish?
The July 2025 report said the court found the prenuptial agreement valid and enforceable. Combs was quoted explaining that a financial settlement would therefore be governed by its terms. That report does not provide a settlement amount or establish how much either person spent on lawyers.

Combs also described, in general terms, how protracted litigation can be used in some divorce cases to exhaust a less wealthy spouse. That was general legal commentary, not a court finding about Brown and Yazdi’s conduct or motives.
Is the divorce case over?
The cited coverage does not establish whether litigation concluded after the July 2025 reporting. The information about the ruling and Yazdi’s legal-fee complaint is a snapshot from that month, not confirmation of the case’s present status.
