It places him against Tamagami #2, continuing the conflict over a Demon Realm Dragon Ball.
What Episode 12’s teaser actually confirms
The surfaced preview says, “Vegeta struggles against the might of Tamagami #2, while an all-new Majin Buu…” The result cuts off there, so the fragment does not establish what happens next, whether Vegeta is defeated, or what role Majin Buu plays. The IMDb related-news listing carrying the CBR teaser offers no confirmed outcome.

That distinction matters: “teases Vegeta’s first defeat” is a question posed by the headline, not a reported result. The evidence available here supports saying Vegeta struggles; it does not support saying he loses or calling the episode his first defeat.
How the fight is set up
The reported Episode 11 setup has Vegeta (Mini) fighting Tamagami #2 for a Demon Realm Dragon Ball in the Second Demon World. Episode 12’s teaser continues that confrontation by describing Vegeta’s struggle. The same IMDb listing carries the teaser, while its Episode 11 context is also presented in that listing.

The available teaser does not answer that. The full CBR article and an official episode synopsis were not available in the cited listings, so the fight’s resolution cannot be established from them. Treat claims that Episode 12 contains Vegeta’s first defeat as unverified unless supported by the episode itself or a reliable synopsis.
