Toronto Comicon is not running this weekend. The 2026 edition took place March 20–22, 2026, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, North Building. As of October 8, 2026, the event’s official homepage lists the next convention for March 19–21, 2027, at the same venue. Readers searching for a Toronto convention on October 9–11, 2026 may be thinking of a different event, covered below.
Why there is no weekend program to follow
The official Toronto Comicon FAQ confirms that the 2026 show ran from Friday, March 20 through Sunday, March 22. That edition is finished, and the organizer’s current homepage advertises only the 2027 dates. No October 2026 Toronto Comicon schedule, guest list or floor plan has been published in the sources available as of this writing, so any guide claiming to show “what to see this weekend” for this event would be guesswork.
Dates, venue and hours at a glance
The table below separates the confirmed 2026 details from what the official homepage currently lists for 2027. Where the sources do not state a value, the table says so.
| Detail | Toronto Comicon 2026 (past) | Toronto Comicon 2027 (next listed) |
|---|---|---|
| Dates | March 20–22, 2026, per the official FAQ | March 19–21, 2027, per the official homepage |
| Venue | Metro Toronto Convention Centre, North Building | Metro Toronto Convention Centre, North Building |
| Address | 255 Front St. W., Toronto, ON M5V 2W6, as listed in the 2026 exhibitor guidelines | Not stated in the sources reviewed; the venue name is the same |
| Public hours | Friday 10 a.m.–7 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m.–7 p.m.; Sunday 10 a.m.–5 p.m., per the 2026 exhibitor guidelines | Not stated; the 2026 hours should not be assumed to carry over |
The 2026 hours come from a document written for exhibitors, so they describe the schedule that year rather than a promise for future shows.

What the event covers
The official site presents Toronto Comicon as a three-day pop culture convention spanning comics, science fiction, horror, anime, gaming and cosplay. Its listed draws include celebrity guests, shopping, family activities, comic creators, gaming booths and guests, and cosplay programming. These are broad categories. They describe what the event has promoted, not a confirmed program for any particular day.
What to prioritize when an edition is on
If you are planning around the March 2027 edition, these are the areas the organizer emphasizes, listed in the order a first-time visitor might tackle them.
Comics and creators
The official site highlights comic creators, legendary creators and hard-to-find comics. For readers who collect, the comic area and creator appearances are the most likely place to find older or harder-to-source issues.
Celebrity guests and autographs
Celebrity appearances and autograph sessions are a headline feature. Guest availability and autograph arrangements can change, so treat any name you have in mind as unconfirmed until it appears in a current schedule.

Rank #3
- - No duplicates guaranteed, - very good to near mint condition, - each comic book individually bagged and boarded, - major superhero titles in every pack
Cosplay
Cosplay guests, costume displays and cosplay experiences are promoted as part of the program. Cosplay events are often scheduled separately from the main floor, so check the timetable for specific sessions rather than relying on floor visits alone.
Anime and gaming
Anime and gaming are named as core areas, with gaming booths and gaming guests in the program. Gaming booths are a good fit for visitors who want to try games rather than only watch panels.
Rank #4
- Inspired by SPIDER-MAN #1 corner box artwork
- 1:10th Scale Collectible with environmental base and backdrop scene
- Included art card with character artwork on the front, and comic synopsis
- Collect all McFarlane Toys Marvel Collectibles
Shopping and family activities
Shopping and family fun are both listed as parts of the convention. If you intend to buy comics on the floor, bringing protective bags and backing boards is a sensible precaution. This is a practical suggestion of ours, not a requirement or recommendation from the organizer.

Two promotional audience-size figures appear on the event’s pages: the app listing describes “All 35,000 of them,” and the current homepage says “All 45,000 of them.” Neither is identified as an audited attendance count, and neither comes with a stated measurement year, so they should be read as marketing language rather than verified numbers.

How to confirm the next program
The official Toronto Comicon app lists a schedule, show map and guest updates. The app’s developer is listed as Informa Canada Inc., and its 2026 update was released February 10. The app is optional; you do not need it to attend. The official website also links to event categories and FAQs. Check both close to the event, because dates, guests, programming and hours can change between editions.
Do not confuse it with Creator Convention Toronto
Search results for October 2026 in Toronto can point to Creator Convention Toronto, which is listed for October 9–11, 2026. That is a separate event. Its schedule and guests do not belong to Toronto Comicon, and nothing in this article describes its program.
