The core returning group is Pauline Chalamet as Kimberly, Amrit Kaur as Bela, and Alyah Chanelle Scott as Whitney. The two notable new faces are Mia Rodgers as Taylor and Gracie Lawrence as Kacey. Reneé Rapp returns as Leighton, but only for a short arc before she leaves the series midseason. The sections below sort the cast by returning versus new, and by series regular versus featured performer, so you can tell at a glance who is who.
Returning core cast
These performers were part of the show’s established group before Season 3 and carry the season’s central storylines.
Pauline Chalamet as Kimberly
Kimberly works at Sips alongside coworkers Canaan and Lila. Her connection with Canaan becomes a source of strain in her friendship with Whitney, according to TheWrap’s Season 3 cast guide, published November 21, 2024. That tension is the main friendship conflict to track in the early episodes.
Amrit Kaur as Bela
Bela returns after a difficult freshman year. Season 2 ended with her aiming to transfer out of Essex, and Season 3 picks up with her still working through that decision. In the new season she also becomes the one who tries to get through to Taylor’s tough exterior.

Alyah Chanelle Scott as Whitney
Whitney’s Season 3 challenge is balancing soccer, school, and a social life. She is also at the center of the Canaan situation, since he is romantically involved with both her and Kimberly.
Reneé Rapp as Leighton
Leighton Murray returns for a short Season 3 arc. She begins sophomore year with her girlfriend Alicia, and then exits the series midseason. Viewers should not expect her to appear as a regular for the whole season.
Lauren “Lolo” Spencer as Jocelyn
Jocelyn is a returning hall mate whose flirting sometimes goes too far. She is a featured performer rather than one of the eight official series regulars.

New arrivals in Season 3
Three performers join the season as characters who are new to the group. Two of them are the notable new faces TheWrap highlights; the third is a love interest for Whitney.

Mia Rodgers as Taylor
Taylor is a first-year international student with a tough exterior. Bela tries to crack it, which makes their dynamic one of the season’s main new pairings.
Gracie Lawrence as Kacey
Kacey is a transfer student who came to Essex to be with her boyfriend. She is resistant to forming friendships with the girls, so her arc is about how she is drawn into the group against her own inclinations.
Rank #3
Devin Craig as Isaiah
Isaiah is a Season 3 newcomer and Whitney’s love interest. TheWrap says his displays of wealth create uncomfortable situations for her. He is not one of the eight names on the official regular-cast list.
Series regulars and featured performers
The distinction matters because the official list and the full cast are not the same. Warner Bros. Discovery’s Season 3 regular-cast list names eight actors: Pauline Chalamet, Amrit Kaur, Alyah Chanelle Scott, Christopher Meyer, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Renika Williams, Gracie Lawrence, and Mia Rodgers. Everyone else who appears in the season is a featured or short-arc performer, including Reneé Rapp, Devin Craig, and Lauren “Lolo” Spencer. A performer’s absence from the regular list does not mean they are minor in the season’s story.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 3 relationship map
Much of Season 3’s tension comes from a single workplace triangle. Kimberly, Canaan, and Lila all work at Sips, and Canaan is involved with both Kimberly and Whitney. TheWrap frames this as the thing that compromises Kimberly and Whitney’s friendship, so when reading early episodes, track the Sips shifts and the Whitney–Kimberly exchanges together.
The new arrivals form a second thread. Taylor and Bela’s relationship is built around Bela trying to get past Taylor’s guardedness, while Kacey’s reluctance to join the friend group sets her apart from the returning women. Isaiah’s arrival adds a separate pressure point on Whitney, with his wealth creating uncomfortable situations for her.
Release dates and where to watch
Warner Bros. Discovery announced Season 3 as a ten-episode Max Original, with a November 21, 2024 premiere and weekly releases after that. Max Portugal’s regional announcement, dated October 31, 2024, gives November 22, 2024 as the premiere date for that market, so the date differs by territory.
