The film has a credits sequence and a separate gag after the credits. The credits include Frank and Beth’s freeze-frame joke, a police-car montage and Frank’s love song; the final coda features Weird Al Yankovic performing for an empty bunker. Stay through the full credits for both.
What happens during the credits?
After Chief Davis announces Police Squad’s return and says Frank’s actions will face an internal investigation, the scene shifts to a celebration at the Internal Affairs Resort & Spa. Frank Drebin Jr. and Beth Davenport raise a toast, and the scene freezes. Frank and Beth struggle to remain still, then move among the frozen guests, realize they are being watched and Frank punches the camera. A police-car montage follows, recalling a recurring franchise gag. Frank’s recorded love song for Beth then plays over the credits.
This sequence is described beat by beat by What’s After The Credits?; Akiva Schaffer’s interview with Vanity Fair independently confirms the credits song and the final coda.
What happens after the credits?
At the end of the credits, a loudspeaker introduces “the world’s last living entertainer,” Weird Al Yankovic, at the Doomsday Giggle Bunkeroom. He enters to perform for the wealthy survivors, but the bunker is empty. He calls out for people connected to the film’s plot, including Cane, and is left with no audience. That is the last gag.

The scene guide provides the detailed account; Schaffer separately confirmed to Vanity Fair that a Weird Al coda appears at the very end.
Why stay through the credits?
The credits song pays off Frank’s earlier mention of writing Beth a love song. Schaffer told Vanity Fair he improvised it after picture lock, then asked Liam Neeson to record it in a New York studio. He also noted that the written credits contain jokes and recommended that franchise fans stay. As Schaffer put it: “Anyone who knows Naked Gun should stay through the credits, because there’s always jokes in the words, which we have in ours as well. But there’s also a ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic coda at the very end.”
