Which Gen V characters cross over?
The crossover brings Cate Dunlap and Sam Riordan from Gen V into The Boys. Contemporaneous coverage identifies the performers as Maddie Phillips (Cate) and Asa Germann (Sam). ComicBook.com’s coverage of the crossover also connects their appearance to the V52 Expo.
What does the episode description say about the story?
Prime Video’s official synopsis centers on Vought’s V52 Expo, where A-Train presents a preview of Training A-Train. That is the episode-level setup provided by the platform; it should not be mistaken for a verified shot-by-shot description of a trailer.

- The world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under Homelander's muscly thumb as he consolidates his power. Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca's son, and his job as The Boys' leader. The rest of the team are fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they must find a way to work together and save the world before it's too late.
Is there an official Episode 5 trailer?
Prime Video and About Amazon provide official trailer material for Season 4 as a whole, alongside the Episode 5 listing. The available sources do not establish the complete footage or exact sequence of a distinct official Episode 5 promo. Secondary coverage refers to an Episode 5 teaser, but that alone is not enough to confirm every shot or label it an official episode trailer.
For verified season-wide context, About Amazon’s Season 4 page describes Victoria Neuman’s political rise, Homelander’s consolidation of power, and Butcher’s effort to regain his team’s trust. Those are broader season themes, not confirmed contents of an Episode 5 trailer.
