Paradise has finished shooting its third and final season. A trade listing placed principal photography in Los Angeles from April 7 to August 16, 2026, and SAG-AFTRA later listed tentative Washington, D.C. location dates of September 23–25. Creator Dan Fogelman announced the official series wrap in a post reported on September 25. No Season 3 premiere date has been announced, and TV Insider lists the Hulu release as TBA.

Season 3 filming schedule at a glance

Season 3 was shot in two separate phases, and the sources for each carry different levels of certainty. The table separates what was scheduled, what was tentative, and what was announced as completed.

Principal photography, Los Angeles, California Scheduled start April 7, 2026; scheduled wrap August 16, 2026 (listed as April through August) Production List, entry last updated April 28, 2026 Trade-listing schedule. The exact dates are stated as scheduled, not as a studio-confirmed final calendar.

How the renewal arrived before the finale

Disney+ announced Paradise’s third-season renewal in March 2026, before the Season 2 finale. The Spain press release is dated March 19 and carries a March 18 Madrid dateline, and a Disney+ Brazil announcement is dated March 17. The Spain notice said the Season 2 finale would arrive March 30. The early timing is the verifiable part of the “quick” renewal: the announcement came ahead of the finale. The public record does not show how Hulu, which carries the series in the United States, reached that decision internally.

Filming in Los Angeles

The Los Angeles window was the main production block. Dan Fogelman told the Los Angeles Times that he was writing the third season while it was being prepared, and that filming would resume in early April. The interview’s date is not stated in the coverage, but its April timing matches the trade listing. In the same interview he described a room that questioned its own boundaries:

“I’m writing the third season as we speak, and it’s the first time I’ve ever turned to my writers and said, ‘Are we allowed to do this? Are we breaking some rule of television?’ But it’s been really exciting in that way.”

He also said Season 3 would conclude the show’s narrative arc, which is the clearest official signal that the story is designed as a complete run.

The Washington, D.C. location shoot

The September dates are the one part of the schedule that moved the production beyond the original Los Angeles listing. SAG-AFTRA’s casting notice tied the Washington dates to Paradise Season 3 and described background roles for local performers. Because the dates are marked tentative, readers should treat September 23–25 as the planned window rather than a confirmed call sheet. TV Insider later reported that Fogelman and cast members Brown and Julianne Nicholson were present for the Washington scenes.

The series wrap

TV Insider reported on September 25 that Fogelman posted the following on Instagram:

“Finishing where it (fictionally) started. That’s an official series wrap on Paradise. Can’t wait to share S3 w everyone. I’ll miss this show and the people who made it. Until the next one…”

The post ties the ending to the show’s premise, which Hulu describes as following Xavier as he searches for Teri while people confront life after “The Day.” Hulu Press credits Fogelman as creator and executive producer, with 20th Television as the production company.

Viewing figures behind the renewal

Disney+ España’s March 2026 renewal announcement gave the following Disney-published figures. They are company figures, not independently audited audience counts:

  • More than 30 million viewing hours for Season 2 (Disney+, 2026).
  • Nearly 12 billion minutes played worldwide across the first two seasons (Disney+, 2026).
  • 25 million additional viewing hours for Season 1, attributed by Disney+ to Season 2’s audience (Disney+, 2026).

What readers should keep distinct

The three phrases “shoot schedule,” “official wrap,” and “premiere date” describe different things. The schedule tells you where and when the cameras rolled; the wrap is the creator’s announcement that the series is finished; the premiere date is a separate release decision that has not been announced. Until Disney or Hulu publishes a date, the only accurate answer to “when does Paradise Season 3 come out?” is that it has not been set.

The cast list for Season 3 has also not been published in full in the coverage available. Brown and Julianne Nicholson are the only performers named in connection with the final location work.
