The sneak peek behind this headline previews Season 6, Episode 8, “The Electric Company,” the fall finale of FBI: Most Wanted, which aired on December 17, 2024. In the preview, the Fugitive Task Force investigates a suspected serial killer in Virginia while considering that local officers may be involved. The corrupt-cop angle is a suspicion set up in the preview, not a confirmed plot point, and the clash with local police is a power struggle rather than a resolved showdown.

What the exclusive clip shows

A December 16, 2024 exclusive-clip report from Give Me My Remote describes the scene. Hana (Keisha Castle-Hughes) briefs Ray (Edwin Hodge) and Nina (Shantel VanSanten) on Emanuel, a person of interest, along with his criminal history and a woman he lives with who has a clean record. The agents then question that woman’s sister, Sloan, who says she has not seen her sister or Manny since Thanksgiving. Nina notices a clue that suggests otherwise.

That interview is the clip’s main beat. It shows the team working from a person of interest outward to people in his orbit, and it sets up the question of whether Sloan’s account holds.

The case setup: a suspected serial killer and possible corrupt officers

Precinct TV’s episode preview describes home invasions and three deaths that prompt a serial-killer theory. The task force travels to a Virginia town, where it deals with local law enforcement. The preview frames the question of corrupt local officers as a possibility the agents must weigh, and the report does not show that any officer’s guilt has been established.

The official synopsis, as reproduced by Precinct TV, reads: “The task force clashes with local law enforcement in Virginia while investigating a suspected serial killer in the area; Remy pushes Abby to take the next step.” That wording comes from the episode listing, not from a named person involved in the production.

Which episode this is, and how to avoid mixing it up

Readers often confuse this fall finale with the Season 5 finale. The two are different episodes:

Detail Season 6, Episode 8: “The Electric Company” Season 5 finale: “Powderfinger”
Season and episode Season 6, Episode 8 Season 5 finale
Air date December 17, 2024 (fall finale) May 21 (2024), per Paramount Press Express’s April 18, 2024 release
Core premise Suspected serial killer in Virginia; possible corrupt local officers Dirty-bomb threat to Manhattan, alongside Ray’s approaching wedding

The “fall finale” label refers to the mid-season break point in late 2024. It does not mean the series ended with this episode.

Viewing context and what to check now

The December 2024 listing said the show aired Tuesdays at 10/9c on CBS and pointed viewers to Paramount+ for catching up on the series. Those are details from the period of the original broadcast. Streaming catalogs and territory access change over time, so confirm current availability on the service before you watch, rather than relying on the 2024 listing.

If you are searching for the episode, the most useful query terms are “FBI Most Wanted season 6 episode 8,” “The Electric Company,” and “FBI Most Wanted dirty cops fall finale.”

For episode-level context, the exclusive clip itself is the primary evidence for what happens in the preview: the Hana and Nina briefing, and Nina spotting the clue during the Sloan interview.
