The episode closes on Mon Mothma dancing at her daughter’s wedding while the people around her are in flight or in danger. The track under that closing sequence is a remix of Nicholas Britell’s Season 1 piece “Niamos!”, which the wedding mix is known as “Brasso.”
Spoiler warning: this recap covers the full episode, including its ending.
The four storylines
“Harvest” moves between four threads. Each one raises the pressure a little, and none of them is resolved by the end of the hour.
Cassian and the TIE Avenger
Cassian is trying to reach Coruscant while flying a TIE Avenger that he barely controls. The opening is practical rather than strategic: before any message can go out, he has to get himself and the ship out of danger.

Bix, Brasso, and Wilmon
In the Ferrix storyline, Bix, Brasso, and Wilmon try to get past an Imperial inspection using forged emergency work orders. The plan fails because the Imperials arrive early. Brasso is arrested, and officers then invade the home Bix and Wilmon share. It is the most direct danger in the episode, and it pushes the group’s refuge toward collapse.
The wedding on Chandrila
Mon Mothma’s daughter’s wedding ends in a loud, chaotic reception. Luthen and Kleya bring a priceless historical artifact as a wedding gift. The celebration runs alongside Mon’s political and moral crisis without easing it.

The Coruscant dinner
Syril and Dedra host an awkward dinner that includes Eedy Karn, Syril’s mother. The domestic discomfort is played for comedy, and it works as a counterweight to the violence and pressure in the other threads.
The ending: Mon’s dance
The episode ties Mon’s wedding dance to the flight and danger in the other storylines. Mon is dancing after tacitly agreeing that Luthen may kill her old friend Tay Kolma, a man who could threaten the growing Rebel Alliance.

The scene is easy to misread as comic relief, and the people who worked on it say otherwise. Genevieve O’Reilly, who plays Mon, told the Associated Press: “It’s a techno-galactic dance moment, but it’s also this moment of internal chaos for this woman.” She added: “She’s tacitly agreed to have her friend murdered. She’s dancing to stop herself from screaming.”
Creator Tony Gilroy explained the constraint Mon is under in the same AP report: “Because she has to do everything, and has to be observed. She can’t move.” Read together, the dance is less a celebration than a public performance by a woman who cannot openly act on what she knows.

The song: “Niamos!” and “Brasso”
The closing music is a remix of “Niamos!”, a track Britell wrote for Season 1. The remixed version is the one heard at the wedding, and it is the one identified as “Brasso” in reporting on the episode.
| Track | Origin | Role in “Harvest” |
|---|---|---|
| “Niamos!” | Nicholas Britell, Season 1 score | Source track for the remix |
| “Brasso” | Remix of “Niamos!” made for the wedding scene, per Men’s Journal (Tony Gilroy interview) | Dance music under the wedding sequence |
Gilroy described the remix to Men’s Journal: “When it came to the wedding, Brandon Roberts came on out and we remixed it. We gave it a real hardcore Tarzana, California, EDM mix. It’s a galactic hit.” The Associated Press describes the result as a chaotic dance-club remix of “Niamos!”. Readers who want to identify the track should search for “Brasso” rather than the original Season 1 title, although the availability of the mix on any particular streaming service is not confirmed here.

What is established about the score
In an official 2022 StarWars.com interview, Britell said the series needed “its own musical language.” He described combining analog synthesizers with created sounds alongside a 50-piece string orchestra, brass, and percussion. His most direct line on the approach was: “I incorporated, right from the very top of the show, analog synthesizers.”
That interview concerns the Season 1 score. It explains where the musical language of the show comes from, but it does not establish how Season 2’s score was built.
Season 2 placement and where to watch
- Season length: Disney+ describes Season 2 as spanning four years of story, with 12 episodes released in four chapters of three episodes each.
- Premiere: The season premiered on Disney+ on April 22, 2025.
- Episode position: The official StarWars.com episode guide lists “Harvest” as Episode 3 and rates it TV-14.
- Individual release date: The official pages consulted do not state the air date of this specific episode, so no date is given here.
- Where to watch: Andor streams on Disney+. Availability varies by region, so check the service in your country before watching.
The episode is best read as the point where the season’s separate pressures start to press on one another. The safe-house collapse, the wedding, and the dinner party are all happening at once, and the closing dance makes the cost of that overlap visible.
