Check what “a can” contains
A can is not automatically one standard drink. NIA defines one standard beer drink as a 12-ounce can or bottle of regular beer, but beer varies in serving size and alcohol percentage. Check the container’s volume and alcohol by volume (ABV); a larger can or stronger beer may contain more alcohol than that reference serving.
