Qué dijo Sandarti sobre su problema de salud
En un video que recogió People en Español el 14 de agosto de 2025, Sandarti contó que el dolor comenzó mientras estaban en la playa y lo atribuyó a un espasmo muscular lumbar. “No es nada grave, pero desde que estábamos en la playa me dio un espasmo muscular en la baja espalda”, dijo.
También relató que consultó a un médico y describió así lo que entendió del diagnóstico: “El diagnóstico es que dos vértebras me están apretando un disco y obviamente eso está comprometiendo tal vez algún nervio, así que el dolor ha sido un poco insoportable”. La referencia a las vértebras, el disco y el posible nervio es la manera en que Sandarti contó lo que le habían dicho; la nota no presenta una confirmación médica independiente.
Cuándo se anunció la ausencia y qué pasó después
El 12 de agosto de 2025, Telemundo informó que Sandarti estaba entre los participantes ausentes de la cocina. La misma nota mencionó que Yany Prado se ausentaba por un problema personal, pero no atribuyó ese motivo a Sandarti. Sandarti expresó entonces que esperaba reintegrarse “próximamente”. Era su expectativa en ese momento, no una confirmación de que volvería. El 19 de agosto de 2025, Telemundo anunció que había sido eliminado de la competencia. Esa eliminación fue un desenlace posterior y distinto de la razón médica que dio para su ausencia inicial. Telemundo anunció su eliminación el 19 de agosto.
Qué se sabe y qué no sobre su estado de salud
La información publicada permite identificar la explicación que Sandarti dio para faltar: dolor lumbar que atribuyó a un espasmo muscular. No establece cuál es su estado de salud actual ni ofrece un informe clínico independiente sobre el problema.
