Zendaya’s screen work runs from Disney Channel sitcoms to HBO drama, from the Spider-Man films to the two Dune adaptations, and into standalone dramas such as Malcolm & Marie and Challengers. The most useful way to approach her credits is by format and period: start with her Disney Channel series, move to the Marvel films and Euphoria, then group the 2020s films by franchise, drama, musical, and animation. The list below reflects sources current to October 2026, and it notes where a credit’s release status or availability still needs checking.
Television: from Disney Channel to HBO
Shake It Up! (2010–2013)
Zendaya’s Disney Channel breakthrough came with Shake It Up!, in which she played Rocky Blue. Her official biography states that the series ran for three seasons. It is a musical-comedy series aimed at younger viewers, and it is the natural starting point for anyone tracing her television career from the beginning. Zendaya’s official site lists the series among her credits.

K.C. Undercover (2015–2018)
She followed with K.C. Undercover, playing K.C. Cooper, a teenager who works as an undercover agent for her family’s spy operation. Her official biography credits her with a role as a producer on the series as well as its three seasons. The show is a useful companion to Shake It Up! because it shows her moving from ensemble comedy to carrying a series as the central figure. The Golden Globes biography also documents the series run.
Other early and supporting television work
Her official selected-credit list includes The OA season 2. A broader TV Guide credits page also lists earlier titles including Frenemies, Zapped, A.N.T. Farm, Good Luck Charlie, and black-ish. Those earlier appearances come from a secondary listing rather than from a production-by-production check, so treat them as a guide to where to look rather than as a complete record. The TV Guide credits page is the place to confirm the rest.

Euphoria (HBO, 2019 onward)
Zendaya plays Rue Bennett in HBO’s Euphoria, the series that changed the perception of her work for many viewers. Her performance earned two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, for 2020 and 2022, according to the Television Academy’s record, which also lists a 2026 lead-actress nomination for the role. The Associated Press reported in April 2026 that the show was returning for a third season, and Apple’s US catalog lists a Euphoria entry dated May 31, 2026, in its Snapshot of Zendaya’s credits. For season-by-season release details, check HBO’s current listings in your country.
Spider-Man films: Zendaya as MJ
Zendaya plays Michelle “MJ” Jones in the Marvel Spider-Man films opposite Tom Holland. The three titles are listed below in release order, as identified by the Golden Globes biography and her official site.

Films by franchise, genre, and role
Her feature work spans large-scale franchise films, standalone dramas, a musical, and voice roles in animated features. The table below lists the prominent credits named in the sources reviewed, with the role type where the sources state it.
| Film | Year | Genre | Role type or character |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Greatest Showman | 2017 | Musical | Not stated in the sources reviewed |
| Smallfoot | 2018 | Animated comedy | Voice role |
| Malcolm & Marie | 2021 | Standalone drama | Lead role; character not stated in the sources reviewed |
| Space Jam: A New Legacy | 2021 | Animated sports comedy | Voice role |
| Dune | 2021 | Science fiction | Chani |
| Dune: Part Two | 2024 | Science fiction | Chani |
| Challengers | 2024 | Sports romantic drama | Tashi Duncan |
| The Drama | 2026 | Drama | Co-starring Robert Pattinson, per the Associated Press |
Dune and Dune: Part Two
Zendaya plays Chani in both Dune (2021) and Dune: Part Two (2024). Both films adapt Frank Herbert’s 1965 novel, according to the Golden Globes biography. If you want to compare the films with the source, read the novel first or alongside the first film; the two films are a single story split across two releases, so watch them in order.
Rank #3
Standalone dramas: Malcolm & Marie and Challengers
Malcolm & Marie (2021) is a two-person drama, and Challengers (2024) is a sports romance in which she plays Tashi Duncan. They have little in common beyond her presence, so they are best watched as separate tastes rather than as a set. Both appear among the Golden Globes biography’s film credits.
Musical and animation
The Greatest Showman (2017) is her major musical credit. She also has two voice roles: Smallfoot (2018) and Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021). These are worth separating from her live-action work when you are picking a film for a younger viewer, because the voice roles do not require her on-screen presence.
Rank #4
Current work: 2026
Two 2026 titles are the most current. Euphoria returns for a third season, as the AP reported in April 2026. The Drama, co-starring Robert Pattinson, is listed by Apple’s catalog for 2026, and the AP’s April 2026 report describes her part in it. Check release dates and local availability for both before planning a viewing, since the sources reviewed do not establish which territories or services carry either title.

How to plan a viewing order
- Start with the early series if you want her comedic roots. Shake It Up! comes first, followed by K.C. Undercover.
- Watch the Spider-Man films in release order: Homecoming (2017), Far From Home (2019), then No Way Home (2021).
- Move to Euphoria for her dramatic television work. Watch the seasons in order, since the season three return follows on from the earlier storylines.
- Watch the two Dune films in release order, then Challengers and Malcolm & Marie as standalone choices.
- Save The Drama and the 2026 season three of Euphoria for last, after confirming release status.
Checking availability before you watch
The sources reviewed confirm that these titles exist and what roles she played, but they do not establish which streaming service or territory carries any of them. Use the official listings for each title on the service you subscribe to, and treat any catalog date as a release record rather than a guarantee of where to watch.
- Check the title’s release date on the official listing before scheduling a watch.
- Confirm regional availability for Euphoria through HBO’s own listings.
- Verify that a 2026 title is already out before recommending it to others.
For the complete record, the official site, the Television Academy, the Golden Globes profile, and the Associated Press report from April 2026 are the most reliable starting points.
”
The Bottom Line
For a first viewing, start with Euphoria if you want her dramatic range, or with Spider-Man: Homecoming if you want the franchise films. Her career covers more ground than either, and the table above is the place to pick the next title.
