Her representatives declined to confirm that the couple were married. Zendaya also declined to say who designed the rings. The AP’s account is the most direct reporting on the March sighting, and it stops at the observation.
The speculation began earlier. In February 2026, Zendaya was seen wearing a delicate gold band on her ring finger. British Vogue described that sighting as chatter and said it would update its reporting.

Background: the 2025 engagement ring
Zendaya wore a diamond ring at the Golden Globes in January 2025, which set off engagement speculation. British Vogue later reported that the couple’s camp confirmed the engagement and identified that ring as a Jessica McCormack design. That is a different ring from the band seen in 2026, and an engagement is not a marriage. The AP’s March 2026 report did not attribute the rings to any designer.

Holland’s June account
The Los Angeles Times reported that Holland told Esquire UK he had married Zendaya. The report quoted him saying, “I found my person,” and, “She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I ever have been when I’m with her.” Those lines describe his feelings about her. They do not give a date, a location, or an officiant, and this article is relying on the Los Angeles Times’s account of the interview rather than the interview itself.

Roach’s September correction
On September 14, 2026, the San Francisco Chronicle reported that Roach had walked back his March claim. He said, “I actually lied,” and that Zendaya “wasn’t married.” He added, “She’s been his wife for a really long time now, but it’s not official yet.” Asked whether he might be misleading reporters again, he said, “I could.”
Roach’s September comments do not independently disprove Holland’s June account, and Holland’s account does not confirm Roach’s March statement. The two accounts conflict. Roach’s line between being married and having an official ceremony is one the reporting raises, but none of the coverage reviewed describes a ceremony, a date, or a legal record for either version.

Zendaya’s own comments on privacy
Zendaya spoke to the Associated Press at The Drama premiere about the ring speculation. She said: “I think there’s a balance between hiding and then also just like living your life and enjoying your life and protecting things that are special to yourself and I think everyone kind of has to do that in some way.” The comment neither confirms nor denies a marriage.
