On June 22, 2024, the day after Jacob Fatu debuted on WWE SmackDown, Zilla Fatu posted “SEE YOU SOON……” on Instagram, according to WrestleTalk. The outlet read it as a possible hint that Zilla could join The Bloodline; the post itself did not confirm a WWE signing or a storyline plan.
What happened after Jacob Fatu debuted?
Jacob Fatu arrived on the June 21, 2024 episode of SmackDown and aligned with The Bloodline. WrestleZone reported that he attacked Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. WrestleTalk described him laying waste to Rhodes, Randy Orton and Kevin Owens to close the show. The group had recently added Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa.
The following day, Zilla Fatu, whom WrestleTalk identified as the son of the late Umaga, shared the message “SEE YOU SOON……” in an Instagram story, as reported by the outlet. WrestleZone also reported the post, rendering it “See you soon.”
Was Zilla Fatu teasing a WWE debut or joining The Bloodline?
WrestleTalk interpreted the message as a possible tease that Zilla might be the next family member to join The Bloodline. WrestleZone noted that Zilla had previously pitched joining WWE’s Bloodline storyline. Those details made the timing suggestive, but neither the brief post nor the coverage established that Zilla had signed with WWE or that the company planned to add him to the group.
