As of October 8, 2026, the next DC film on the official calendar is Clayface, which DC lists for theaters on October 23, 2026. After it come Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall, which DC lists only as a 2026 release, Man of Tomorrow (July 9, 2027), The Batman Part II (reported for February 18, 2028), and Dynamic Duo (September 22, 2028).
“Full list” here means films that have been publicly announced and that a named source ties to a date or year. It does not include every project in development, and it leaves out rumored titles and undated ideas.

Film-by-film notes
Clayface
DC’s current movie listing gives October 23, 2026 and names James Watkins as director and Tom Rhys Harries as the star. Older coverage is out of date on this point: DC’s 2025 preview gave September 11, 2026, and that date has been superseded. If you see September 11 in an older roundup, the October 23 listing is the one to use.
Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall
DC’s movie list labels this title “(2026)” and its pages include an official trailer. The checked official listing does not give a release day, so no specific date should be assumed. Treat it as a 2026 release with the exact date still to be announced.

#1 Best Overall
Man of Tomorrow
DC announced the title as the follow-up to Superman and attached the July 9, 2027 theatrical date to the announcement. That announcement said little else about the film at the time, so cast, director and story details should be checked against later DC releases rather than assumed.
The Batman Part II
GamesRadar reported on October 6, 2026 that the film had been moved again, from October 1, 2027 to February 18, 2028. That report is the latest date found in the sources reviewed, but no current official DC page confirming it was located. Until DC or Warner Bros. confirms the date, label it as a reported date.
Rank #2
Dynamic Duo
Warner Bros. Pictures Animation’s film schedule lists this DC Studios and Swaybox film for September 22, 2028. A studio schedule date is firmer than a press report, but schedule dates for films this far out are the most likely to move.
How to judge whether a release date will hold
- Official DC or studio listing: the strongest evidence, as with Clayface and Man of Tomorrow.
- Trade or entertainment-site report: useful, but it should be labeled as reported, as with The Batman Part II.
- Older slate roundups and previews: these can carry dates that have since changed, as the Clayface example shows.
- Year-only listings: a year such as “2026” confirms a plan, not a day. Wait for a dated announcement before treating it as a fixed release.
- Dates set far in advance: films scheduled for 2027 and 2028 have already moved at least once. Check the official listing again close to release.
Recently released: Supergirl
Supergirl is not on the upcoming list. DC’s Supergirl page gives June 26, 2026 for North America and June 24 for the international start, so those dates are in the past. Milly Alcock plays Kara Zor-El/Supergirl, Craig Gillespie directed, and Ana Nogueira wrote the screenplay. DC names Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, the comic by Tom King and Bilquis Evely, as the film’s source, and it is a practical starting point for readers who want to know where the story comes from.

This guide covers announced films with dates or years. It does not cover undated projects, and DC’s announced slate is no longer a reliable guide to what is coming. On January 31, 2023, DC described an initial slate of five films and five television series. Peter Safran, then co-chairman and CEO of DC Studios, said: “As we craft the plan for DC Studios, we are thrilled to share with fans the first 10 stories they can expect from the unified DC Universe featuring some of our most well-known characters as well as the next generation of marquee characters.” That 2023 announcement is useful background on how the slate was first framed, but its release dates are historical and have since changed.
