In April 2024, Zach Braff, John C. McGinley, Christa Miller and Sarah Chalke, the four actors who starred together on Scrubs, were pictured at an informal get-together that ABC News described as a mini Scrubs reunion. The photo was shared on Instagram by Amanda Kloots and Christa Miller, and Miller’s caption was “Impromptu pizza party with my Scrubs.” The post is from April 2024, so it is not new as of October 2026. This article covers what the report establishes and where its evidence stops.
What the April 2024 post showed
ABC News, through Good Morning America, reported on April 15, 2024 that the group had gathered for what it framed as a mini Scrubs reunion. The report describes the get-together as informal. It was not presented as a formal cast event, a press appearance, or a promotional occasion, and the report does not name a special reason for the meeting.
According to ABC, Kloots and Miller shared the photo on Instagram on the Monday before the report. That is the only platform the report names.
Who appears in the photo
The report lists five people in the picture:
- Zach Braff, who played a lead role on Scrubs.
- John C. McGinley, who appeared on the show with the group.
- Christa Miller, who appeared on the show with the group and shared the post.
- Sarah Chalke, who appeared on the show with the group.
- Amanda Kloots, who was pictured with them and also shared the post. The report does not describe her connection to the series.
ABC states that Braff, McGinley, Miller and Chalke starred together on Scrubs for nine seasons, from 2001 to 2010, and that the cast has remained friends. That history is the context for the reunion framing. The report does not describe any new Scrubs project connected to the gathering, and this article does not suggest one.
Miller’s caption
Miller’s caption, reproduced verbatim by ABC, was: “Impromptu pizza party with my Scrubs.” The wording supports the report’s informal description. It is the only statement from the group about the gathering that the report quotes. The report includes no separate interview with Braff, McGinley or Chalke about the get-together.

- Established: the four former co-stars and Kloots were pictured together; the photo was shared on Instagram by Kloots and Miller; the caption is as quoted; the cast ran for nine seasons from 2001 to 2010.
- Not established: that every pictured person posted the image; the exact posting time; a direct link to the original Instagram post, which the report does not provide, so the post itself was not checked for this article.
- Not stated: attendance beyond the people shown, the location, or any engagement figures. The report includes no statistics about the post.
Readers looking for the original post should search Instagram for the caption above and confirm that the account belongs to Miller or Kloots before relying on it.
