Why Jim Parsons’s pay is harder to compare
Jim Parsons narrated Young Sheldon as adult Sheldon and was an executive producer, rather than appearing as one of the central on-screen family actors. The reviewed reporting does not establish his compensation for those duties, so assigning him a per-episode salary for Young Sheldon would be speculative. Distractify discusses the uncertainty.

How the Big Bang Theory figures compare
In August 2014, TIME reported that Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco were set to earn $1 million per episode for seasons 8–10 of The Big Bang Theory, attributing the report to Deadline Hollywood. That is a dated report about three actors and specified seasons—not a rate for the entire cast, every season, or Young Sheldon. TIME’s report.
A separate TIME report in 2018 listed annual earnings of $26.5 million for Parsons, $25 million for Galecki, and $23.5 million each for Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar, drawing on Forbes. What can be stated with confidence
- Media reports put Armitage’s pay at about $30,000 per episode early on and at least $60,000 in later seasons.
- The Tab reported later-run estimates for Barber, Perry and Potts, but exact amounts for Revord and Jordan were not provided.
