El fiscal Carlos Valdez explicó a Oxygen que la acusación no tenía que probar la malversación para conseguir la condena por asesinato. Según Valdez, debía establecer que Abraham Quintanilla creía que había dinero faltante y que Saldívar estaba haciendo algo ilegal o impropio.
