Yeri Mua dijo que aspira a ser recordada después de la muerte. En una entrevista con People en Español, actualizada el 3 de junio de 2025, vinculó esa aspiración con su carrera musical y con la admiración que siente por Selena Quintanilla.

“Aspiro a ser recordada después de la muerte”, expresó la artista en la entrevista de People en Español. La frase plantea una aspiración personal; no es una predicción sobre cómo el público valorará su obra en el futuro.
La música como parte de esa aspiración

El respeto y la libertad de expresarse
En la conversación, Yeri Mua señaló que ganarse el respeto del público es uno de los retos de una industria competida. Dijo que algunas personas juzgan a las artistas por hablar abiertamente de sexo y recordó que ha recibido insultos. También contó que aceptar esos insultos le resultó liberador y que no teme aceptar su sexualidad. Son reflexiones atribuidas a la entrevistada, no una medida de la recepción general de su carrera.
