Yailin la Más Viral released Resiliencia on April 3, 2024: a six-song, 15-minute digital release that Apple Music and MusicBrainz catalog as an EP, while People en Español calls it her first album. The label is a catalog distinction, not a dispute about the music. Her first full-length project is best described as a short debut release that presents her beyond dembow.
When was Resiliencia released?
The release date is April 3, 2024. Apple Music lists it with that date, six songs, and a rounded runtime of 15 minutes. MusicBrainz independently records a release event in the Dominican Republic on the same date.

EP or album?
The two kinds of source disagree on the label, and the difference matters if you are reading her discography.
- Apple Music and MusicBrainz catalog Resiliencia as an EP. Both describe it as a short release of six tracks.
- People en Español, in its coverage published April 6, 2024, calls it Yailin’s first album.
Streaming catalogs and metadata databases use fixed release types based on track count and format, so their EP label is the more precise description of the release. “Album” is the publication’s term for the project as her first full-length statement. Both usages can be true at once; the catalog simply classifies by format.

Release format and rights
MusicBrainz records the medium as digital media, with no barcode and no packaging. The reviewed sources do not establish a physical edition such as a CD or vinyl pressing, so treat this as a digital-only release.
Apple Music’s rights line reads: “℗ 2024 Iris Live Music, LLC, exclusively licensed to Roc Nation Distribution.” Apple Music also credits Iris Live Music, LLC. In plain terms, the recording is owned by Iris Live Music and distributed through Roc Nation Distribution under an exclusive license.

Tracklist and running time
MusicBrainz lists six tracks with the following durations. The total of 15:14 matches the 15-minute figure Apple Music shows.
| No. | Track | Duration (MusicBrainz) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | “Me Encantas” | 3:18 |
| 2 | “DM” | 2:18 |
| 3 | “Como Te Sintiera” | 2:08 |
| 4 | “Amigos” | 2:33 |
| 5 | “Sola” | 2:27 |
| 6 | “69” | 2:30 |
A Spotify page for “69” corroborates that the track belongs to this release and carries the same April 2024 date. Listener counts on that page change over time, so this article does not use them.

What the coverage says the record is about
People en Español describes Resiliencia as a reflection of perseverance and self-discovery. It says the project moves beyond dembow into reggaetón romantiqueo, cumbia, and tropical house. The outlet’s online editor, Nohelia Castro, wrote the piece. These are the publication’s interpretations, not statements made by Yailin in that article, and no direct artist quotation about the album was established in the sources reviewed.
The article’s summary sentence is:
“Resiliencia es un reflejo de su camino y muestra musicalmente su capacidad para prosperar en medio de las dificultades.”
(Translation: “Resiliencia is a reflection of her journey and musically shows her ability to thrive amid difficulties.”) — People en Español, April 6, 2024Rank #4
Weezer (Blue Album) [LP]
- Supported by three singles `Buddy Holly', `Undone' and `Say It Ain't So' - this debut album brought Weezer mainstream success and eventually became certified triple-platinum in the United States
Who is Yailin la Más Viral?
Apple Music’s artist profile describes Yailin as a dancer and musician from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, associated with reggaetón, hip-hop, and dembow. That background explains why the release is framed as a step beyond dembow: the earlier work is rooted in that style, and this EP adds romantic reggaetón, cumbia, and tropical house.
