Taylor Swift appeared in the telecast of the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, but she did not appear in person. iHeartMedia’s official recap says she accepted the Tour of the Century Award by video. The recap does not report that she attended the ceremony at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.
What the official recap says
iHeartMedia’s March 18, 2025 recap of the event states: “Taylor Swift accepted the Tour of the Century Award via video, and treated fans to an exclusive performance of ‘Mirrorball’ from the first night of The Eras Tour.” The sentence describes a video acceptance and a prerecorded-style broadcast segment, not a live appearance on stage. The statement is attributed to the organization’s event recap, not to a named individual.

Being “at” the show versus appearing in the broadcast
The question uses “at,” which can mean either physically present at the venue or visible in the telecast. For this event, the evidence supports only the second meaning. Swift’s contribution was a video acceptance and an exclusive “Mirrorball” performance from the opening night of the Eras Tour, both aired during the show. Readers looking for a record of her attending in person should know that the official account does not establish one.

Why the pre-show lineup is not proof of attendance
Pre-event previews named scheduled performers and presenters, but a listed name in a preview is a plan, not a record of what happened. If you are checking whether Swift was in the room, rely on the post-event recap, which describes a video acceptance. If you are checking what aired, the recap’s description of the “Mirrorball” segment is the most direct account available.

Describe Swift as appearing remotely or accepting her award by video. Avoid phrasing that implies she was at the Dolby Theater, unless you have a source that reports her presence there.
Rank #2
- The 1989 album changed my life in countless ways, and it fills me with such excitement to announce that my version of it will be out October 27th
Because the ceremony took place in March 2025, use past tense when referring to it.
The short answer is that Swift was part of the broadcast but, on the evidence available, not in the room.
