The Showtime broadcast followed on Sunday, February 16, 2025. Season 3 is no longer upcoming, so a countdown to its release no longer applies. This page covers the exact premiere sequence, the streaming hour that outlets reported, where the season is listed now, and what comes next.
Premiere date and streaming time
Paramount’s official premiere announcement, issued in 2024, confirms the date and the release sequence. It does not state an hour. TheWrap reported that the streaming episodes became available at midnight ET on February 14, 2025. Treat midnight ET as a reported time from that outlet, not as a time printed in Paramount’s announcement. If you are outside the U.S. Eastern time zone, convert it yourself, and expect that local availability in other territories may have followed a different schedule.

Streaming versus Showtime broadcast
Season 3 had two release modes. Subscribers who watched on streaming had the first two episodes on February 14, two days before the linear broadcast. Viewers who waited for the Showtime channel saw the premiere on February 16. The table below sets the two modes side by side.
| Release mode | Date | Time | Access at premiere |
|---|---|---|---|
| Paramount+ streaming | Friday, February 14, 2025 | Midnight ET, as reported by TheWrap; not stated in Paramount’s announcement | Two episodes on Paramount+ with the SHOWTIME plan (U.S.) |
| Showtime linear broadcast | Sunday, February 16, 2025 | Not stated in the sources reviewed | Showtime channel |
Season 3 at a glance
Season 3 ran for 10 episodes. Paramount+ episode listings place the finale on April 4, 2025. Paramount’s current catalog lists three seasons and 29 episodes across Seasons 1 through 3, which is consistent with a 10-episode third season. That catalog count does not carry a publication year, so it describes the current listing rather than a dated release figure.

Where to watch Season 3 now
Paramount+ currently lists Season 3 for subscribers on the Premium plan. Seasons 1 and 2 are listed as available on all Paramount+ plans. This is the current catalog arrangement, not the plan that carried the 2025 premiere, so do not assume that a plan named in February 2025 is the same plan that carries the season today. Check the plan requirements on Paramount+ before you subscribe, because plan names and tier availability change.

Paramount has announced that Season 4 is the final season of Yellowjackets. It is scheduled to premiere on November 20, 2026, exclusively on Paramount+ with the Premium Plan. As of today, that premiere is about six weeks away.
Chris McCarthy, Co-CEO of Paramount Global and President of SHOWTIME/MTV Entertainment Studios, described Season 3 in the renewal announcement as having been “shattering all previous records.” That is a promotional description. The announcement gives no viewership figure to support it, so it should not be read as a measured audience number.
Why regional details can differ
Paramount Australia also announced a February 14, 2025 premiere for its territory. That confirms the date for that market, but it does not establish a single global release hour or identical availability in every country. For any territory outside the U.S., check the local Paramount+ or Showtime listing for the broadcast time and the plan that carries the season.
Recommended Free Tools
- Confirm the date with the official premiere announcement or the service’s own listing.
- Treat midnight ET as a reported U.S. Eastern time, not a global release time.
- Check the current plan on Paramount+ before assuming access.
The countdown format that the original page name suggests does not apply to a season that aired in early 2025. The useful information now is the premiere sequence, the current service listing and the date of the final season.
