The name “brown monster” is not an official title, and it is also used loosely for other brown characters and objects, so the identification below assumes you mean a Labubu toy.
Who or what is Chestnut Cocoa?
Chestnut Cocoa is one of the named figures in the Exciting Macaron vinyl series, which belongs to POP MART’s THE MONSTERS product family. POP MART’s official product listing names Chestnut Cocoa (Secret) among the possible figures in the blind box. Labubu is the character line that the official THE MONSTERS collection page describes as its core, and this figure is one of its brown variants.
How to get the figure
The product is sold as a blind box, so you do not choose which figure you receive. The official listing explains that a secret figure can randomly replace a basic figure in the box. Buying one box does not guarantee Chestnut Cocoa, and the listing does not publish the odds of finding the secret figure.
The listing offers two purchase formats:
| Format | What you receive | Chestnut Cocoa guaranteed? |
|---|---|---|
| Single blind box | One randomly chosen figure, which may be a basic figure or the secret figure | No |
| Whole set | Six non-repeating blind boxes, according to the official listing | Not stated in the official listing; the set’s six boxes do not guarantee the secret figure by name |
Product specifications
POP MART’s listing gives the release date as October 27, 2023, the material as ABS/PVC, and the height as 6.7 inches. These are the manufacturer’s stated specifications, not measurements from an independent test.

Name confusion: Chestnut Cocoa and Duoduo
A March 23, 2026 collector guide from Double Boxed uses the question “What is the brown Labubu’s name?” and mentions both Chestnut Cocoa and Duoduo. That guide is a secondary source, not official character documentation. Duoduo does not appear in the official Exciting Macaron product listing, so this article does not treat it as a verified name for this blind box. Chestnut Cocoa is the name the official listing supports.
If you mean a different brown monster
Brown monsters appear in other shows, games, and toy lines. If your question concerns one of those, the name Chestnut Cocoa will not apply. Adding the title of the show, game, or toy line, or a photo of the character, will make it possible to identify the right one.
