What did he accomplish in the NFL?
Wilson spent his first ten NFL seasons with Seattle and led the Seahawks to their first Super Bowl championship after the 2013 season. He later played for Denver, Pittsburgh and the New York Giants. The Associated Press reported career totals of 46,966 passing yards, 353 passing touchdowns and 114 interceptions in its June 2026 account of his CBS move; these are figures attributed to that report, not a live statistical update.
Is Russell Wilson still playing football?
As reported in June 2026, Wilson was moving from playing football into broadcasting after 14 NFL seasons. The NFL reported on June 3 that he had posted a farewell video and was joining CBS’s Sunday pregame show. In the video, Wilson addressed football itself: “You’ve been my joy, my peace, my safe place,” he said. The words were directed to the sport, not to Ciara.
Who is Ciara, and when did they marry?
Ciara is a singer and Wilson’s spouse. Biography.com reports that the couple married on July 6, 2016. It says they have three children together—Sienna, Win and Amora—and that Wilson is stepfather to Ciara’s son, Future Zahir, from a previous relationship.
