What was her relationship with Tiger Woods?
The Associated Press reported that Herman and Woods were together for about seven years and that the relationship ended in October 2022. Reports commonly date the relationship to 2017. Herman’s complaint concerning the NDA said she signed it in August 2017, when the relationship began, according to ESPN.

The housing complaint
Herman brought a housing-related complaint against the trust associated with Woods’s Florida home. She sought $30 million and alleged that an oral agreement allowed her to live at his Hobe Sound home for 11 years, but that she was excluded after about six. Herman dismissed that complaint without prejudice in June 2023, while the NDA dispute and an appeal were pending, according to reporting on the filing: ESPN. A dismissal without prejudice is not a decision that the allegations were true or false.
The NDA dispute
In March 2023, Herman sought to be released from or invalidate an NDA she said she had signed in 2017. Her attorney later alleged in a court filing that Woods pursued a sexual relationship with her while she was his employee and required her to sign an NDA. The Washington Post reproduced the lawyer’s characterization: “Tiger Woods, the internationally renowned athlete and one of the most powerful figures in global sports, decided to pursue a sexual relationship with his employee, then — according to him — forced her to sign an NDA about it or else be fired from her job.” This was an allegation by her attorney, not a finding by a judge. Woods’s attorneys disputed Herman’s position and argued that the disagreement belonged in private arbitration. In May 2023, a judge ruled that the NDA dispute had to be resolved privately, as reported by The Washington Post. That procedural ruling addressed where the dispute would be handled; it did not determine whether the alleged conduct occurred.

In March 2025, the Associated Press reported that Herman had dismissed lawsuits against Woods and the trust associated with his Florida estate.
