She is married to model Lucky Blue Smith, and her first cookbook, Homemade, is scheduled for October 13, 2026.
What is Nara Smith known for?
Smith’s videos pair from-scratch cooking with carefully composed styling, designer clothes and a soft, deadpan voiceover. She makes recipes, snacks and sometimes household products, often presenting an elaborate process in a short, polished format. Harper’s Bazaar’s 2024 profile described videos that were often under three minutes; British GQ noted that projects such as bread and cheese could take hours despite being presented as quick or easy.
The appeal is not limited to the recipes: the presentation can read as cooking, entertainment or performance. Those are interpretations of her public content, not evidence of her private intentions. In Vogue’s April 2025 Now Serving feature, for example, Smith and Lucky Blue Smith made a crispy chicken sandwich with rosemary-mint lemonade, including brioche buns made from scratch.
Where did Nara Smith grow up?
HarperCollins’ author biography says Smith grew up in Frankfurt, Germany, with a South African mother and a German father. She learned to cook by watching her father and grandmother. The publisher identifies her as a model, entrepreneur and lifestyle creator.

Who is Nara Smith married to?
She is married to model Lucky Blue Smith. British GQ reported that they met in 2019 and married in February 2020. HarperCollins says they live in Connecticut with their four children: Rumble Honey, Slim Easy, Whimsy Lou and Fawnie Golden.
Is Nara Smith a “tradwife”?
“Tradwife” is a label used in commentary about some of Smith’s content, not an uncontested description of her identity. In a Vanity Fair interview published April 20, 2026, Smith said she preferred “princess” and “dress-up” to “tradwife” and described herself as a working mom. British GQ’s 2024 profile also documented varied reactions to her public persona. Those reactions should be kept distinct from what Smith says about herself.
Does Nara Smith have a cookbook?
Yes. HarperCollins lists Smith’s first cookbook, Homemade, for October 13, 2026. As of October 8, 2026, it is forthcoming and listed for preorder, not yet released. The publisher says the book contains 80 family-friendly recipes.
Smith told Vanity Fair that the book brings together social-media favorites, including cinnamon toast cereal, chocolate sandwich cookies and cheese crackers, as well as everyday dishes such as roast chicken and pancakes. She said people often asked her for recipes, motivating her to collect recipes readers could make at home. The publisher describes the book as focused on simple, from-scratch food and cooking to share with loved ones.

How many followers does Nara Smith have?
Published follower counts are dated snapshots, not verified live totals. Vanity Fair reported more than 12 million TikTok followers and 4.8 million Instagram followers in April 2026. Harper’s Bazaar reported more than nine million TikTok followers in August 2024, while British GQ reported more than eight million in September 2024. Because the reports were published at different times, they should not be treated as current counts or as a direct comparison of audience growth.
