In a statement reported by ABC News on June 5, 2025, Reid said, “Earlier this year, I made the hard decision to end my marriage after deep prayer and reflection.” Lochte said he was grateful for the life they had built and “the love we share for our three children.” Their public statements did not establish a specific reason for the separation.
