The most widely discussed answer is Eddie Harrigan. In season 1, episode 8, “Helter Skelter,” Maeve refers to Kevin’s “other brother,” and the surrounding scenes point toward Eddie as the likeliest person she means. The theory is that Eddie is Conrad’s son with Bella, which would make him Kevin’s paternal half-brother. The episode invites that reading, but nothing in the transcript or the coverage examined here confirms it. Treat Eddie as the strongest interpretation, not a settled reveal.
What Maeve actually says
The exchange takes place during an argument about who should take over the family position. Maeve is arguing that Seraphina should not inherit it. The fan-run episode transcript on Springfield! Springfield! records the key lines in this order:

| Speaker | Line |
|---|---|
| Maeve | “It is you or your brother.” |
| Kevin | “Yeah. Well, not anymore.” |
| Maeve | “I mean your other brother.” |
| Kevin | “You fucking bitch.” |
Kevin’s “not anymore” is a reference to Brendan’s death, which is why Maeve’s follow-up matters: she is not repeating the first brother but naming a second one. The transcript shows that Maeve invokes another brother and that Kevin reacts sharply. It does not name that brother in the exchange. Anything more specific comes from the scenes around it.
Why Eddie is the leading candidate
Three details from the episode are cited in fan and recap coverage. Each one is a clue of a different kind, and none of them is a statement of parentage.

The Conrad and Bella scene
Earlier in the episode, Conrad speaks privately with Bella and tells her, “Don’t forget who you belong to. Ever.” Coverage on ComingSoon reads that line, together with the implied history between the two characters, as a reason to suspect Conrad fathered Eddie. The line is possessive and charged. It shows that Conrad and Bella have a past, but it does not establish that they had a child together.
Eddie’s entrance
The Ready Steady Cut recap of episode 8 notes that Eddie enters around the Maeve and Kevin conversation. Viewers who already suspect Eddie are likely to see that timing as deliberate. The staging draws attention to him, but it tells us nothing about who he is related to.
Harry’s speech to Eddie
The same recap quotes Harry speaking to Eddie:
“You are the future, mate. And whatever comes, I will be right by your side as you ascend. And then one day, when you’re at the top, and you’re looking down over all of this… I’ll be right there with you, mate. Right by your side. And I’ll push you off.”

The Snoop Sisters: The Complete Series
- THE SNOOP SISTERS - A spinster and her widowed sister, who are also mystery writers, try to solve mysterious murders.
- STELLAR CAST - Starring Helen Hayes, Mildred Natwick, and Lou Antonio.
- CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED - Winner of Primetime Emmy for Best Lead Actress in a Limited Series.
- COMPLETE SERIES - All episodes on 2 DVDs. Runs 6.5 hours. Region 1 coded (US & CANADA).
- A GREAT GIFT - Get it for the Snoop Sisters fan in your life.
The recap reads this as relevant to Eddie’s place in the family’s future. The speech is also openly threatening, and it is dialogue between characters. It makes Eddie a figure of succession interest but does not say whose son he is.

The clues are not equal. Only the first is a line of direct dialogue, and even it names no one.
| Clue | Type of evidence | What it supports | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|---|
| “I mean your other brother” | Direct dialogue in the episode transcript | Maeve refers to a second brother, and Kevin reacts strongly | Who that brother is, or whether he is Conrad’s son |
| Conrad’s “Don’t forget who you belong to. Ever.” | Scene dialogue, read alongside the implied history between Conrad and Bella | A past or ongoing bond between Conrad and Bella | Paternity of any child |
| Eddie’s entrance during the Maeve and Kevin conversation | Staging, as described in the recap | Eddie is placed close to the exchange | Any family relationship |
| Harry’s “I’ll push you off” speech | Threatening dialogue quoted in the recap | Eddie is treated as a figure of future family significance | Biological parentage |
What the theory would mean
If Eddie is Conrad’s son, he would be Kevin’s paternal half-brother, meaning the two share a father. That is the only relationship the theory proposes. Whether a half-brother of that kind would have a claim to the position Maeve is discussing depends on how the show treats succession, and the coverage examined here does not address that point.

What is not established
No source examined here provides confirmation from the show, its creators, or its cast that Conrad is Eddie’s father, or that Eddie is Kevin’s half-brother. The two recaps and the transcript present the identification as inference. The reporting cited here is dated May 18, 2025, close to the episode’s broadcast, so any later episode that addresses Eddie’s parentage would not be reflected in it.
On the evidence available, Eddie is the best-supported answer to Maeve’s “other brother” line. It is an interpretation of the scenes around that line, not something the episode states outright.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsHow to check the theory yourself
- Find season 1, episode 8, “Helter Skelter,” and go to the scene where Maeve and Kevin argue about the succession.
- Note the moment Maeve says “I mean your other brother,” and check whether Eddie is on screen at that point or only enters afterward.
- Compare what you hear with the lines in the episode transcript, since fan transcripts can contain small errors.
- Rewatch the private Conrad and Bella scene and decide whether the “belong to” line on its own carries the parentage inference, or whether it depends on what you already expect.
- Watch the episodes that follow for any direct statement about Eddie’s parentage. If none comes, the relationship remains a theory.
Each step checks something different: the wording, the staging, and the history between characters. None of them, on its own, settles who the “other brother” is.

For the full recap of the episode, see the Ready Steady Cut coverage, which lays out the scenes in order.
Reader wording in fan discussion keeps returning to the same question, “Could Eddie be Kev’s brother?”, which shows how widely the theory is shared. Its popularity, though, is not evidence of its truth.
