Nicole Scherzinger’s fiancé is Thom Evans, a former Scotland international rugby player who later appeared on British television. The two met in 2019 when Evans competed on The X Factor: Celebrity, where Scherzinger was a judge. They confirmed their relationship in January 2020, and Scherzinger announced their engagement on 27 June 2023.
Who is Thom Evans?
Evans is a former professional rugby player from Scotland. He played for Glasgow Warriors and represented Scotland internationally. Scottish Rugby says a serious neck injury sustained while playing against Wales in Cardiff ended his rugby career in 2010, when he was 24. Scottish Rugby’s 2020 profile also recounts his experience playing for Scotland alongside his brother Max.

What did Thom Evans do after rugby?
After retiring, Evans moved into television. He appeared on Strictly Come Dancing and competed on The X Factor: Celebrity as part of Try Star, a group formed with fellow rugby players Ben Foden and Levi Davis. The Evening Standard’s 2023 engagement report identifies the group and the show that brought Evans and Scherzinger together.

She shared a photograph of Evans proposing on a beach with the caption, “I said yes.” In an October 2023 interview, she referred to Evans as her fiancé. The dated reports establish their engagement; they do not establish a wedding date or a later change in marital status.
