Matt Rife’s ex-girlfriend is Jessica Lord, a British actress and dancer. Rife spoke about having a girlfriend in an October 2023 interview; reports later said he and Lord split in March 2024. Neither a public explanation from Lord nor reliable information about her current relationship status is established by the sources cited here.
Who is Jessica Lord?
Jessica Lord is described in published coverage as a British actress and dancer. The sources cited here do not establish a detailed biography or a verified list of her acting and dance credits, so it is best not to infer more about her career from the relationship coverage alone.

What did Matt Rife say about their relationship?
In an October 2023 appearance on the 2 Bears, 1 Cave podcast, Rife said he had a girlfriend and described the relationship as about four or five months old. He added that they had known each other for about a year and a half, calling her “wonderful.” Just Jared reported his comments.
Rife also said, “She’s very calming and understanding which is what I love so much about our relationship.” That was Rife’s description of his girlfriend at the time, not a statement from Lord. A November 2023 Vogue interview also includes remarks from Rife about having a girlfriend, but the quoted passage does not name Lord.

When did Jessica Lord and Matt Rife date?
The public timeline combines Rife’s own remarks with details attributed to unnamed sources. Keep that distinction in mind when reading the dates:
- 2022 meeting, reportedly: TMZ reported that Lord and Rife met in Mississippi in 2022, when Lord had a boyfriend. This detail came from unnamed sources, not a public account from Lord or Rife.
- June 2023 start, reportedly: TMZ’s sources said they began seeing each other in June 2023. In October, Rife described the relationship as roughly four or five months old, which is consistent with that reported timing.
- March 2024 split, reportedly: TMZ reported on July 3, 2024, that the couple had split in March and characterized the breakup as amicable, citing unnamed sources. A 2024 New Yorker profile also places the split in March.
TMZ’s breakup report is the source for the reported meeting, dating start and amicable characterization. TV Insider later described the relationship as lasting about nine months, but that is secondary reporting rather than a public timeline supplied by either person.

Why did they break up?
The cited coverage does not establish why Lord and Rife separated. TMZ described the split as amicable based on unnamed sources, but neither that characterization nor a reason for the breakup comes from a public explanation by Lord. Avoid treating speculation as fact.
