Jillian Michaels’ wife is DeShanna Marie Minuto, a fashion designer. The couple legally married in South Florida in June 2022, and later celebrated with a private ceremony in Namibia and a event in Venice, Italy. The most recent direct report of their relationship that we could confirm is a March 2024 PEOPLE interview, so this article separates what is documented from what cannot be confirmed as of October 2026.
Who is DeShanna Marie Minuto?
Fashion design background
A August 27, 2019 Women’s Health profile describes Minuto as a fashion designer and the founder of Letterino, a label that makes reconstructed vintage jackets. That profile is the only detailed description of her work we located, and it reflects her situation in 2019. It does not establish whether Letterino is still operating or what it sells today, so treat the label’s current status as unverified.
Career context from Michaels’ official biography
Michaels’ official biography presents Minuto as a media personality, author, and entrepreneur, and it summarizes Michaels’ own fitness, publishing, and wellness work. That description is useful context for the couple’s public profile, but it is a short overview rather than a detailed account of Minuto’s career.
Her name in coverage
Some coverage refers to her as DeShanna Marie Michaels after the wedding. The reports cited here use Minuto, and this article follows that usage.

What Michaels has said about Minuto
In a WRTV account of the wedding, Michaels is quoted saying: “She’s beautiful, she’s funny and she’s so creative.” The same article says Michaels took marriage seriously and had not previously believed she had met someone she wanted to spend her life with. WRTV reported these remarks from an interview conducted with PEOPLE, so the quotes should be attributed to Michaels and the WRTV report.

The most recent direct report on the relationship that we could confirm is the March 30, 2024 PEOPLE interview. It shows that Minuto was described as Michaels’ wife at that time. It does not confirm whether the couple is still married as of October 8, 2026. For a current status, check recent reporting from PEOPLE or from Michaels’ own public channels.

Two things are documented with dates: the June 2022 legal marriage in South Florida and the later ceremony and celebration reported in 2023. Beyond those events, the public record on Minuto is thin, and this article does not add details about her age, education, or finances.
Other facts can be used with the dates attached. Michaels’ engagement announcement dates to November 28, 2021, and the wedding coverage cited above dates to June 2023. Any claim about Letterino’s current operations would need a source dated after 2019.
