Verret’s role in the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation
The Jordan Spieth Family Foundation says Verret was involved from the organization’s beginning and took on a more formal role in 2017. The foundation credits her with bringing pediatric cancer forward as its fourth mission pillar, inspired by the cancer battles of two childhood friends.

Spieth’s official biography says the couple gave $500,000 in 2024 to support acute myeloid leukemia (AML) research at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. That is a reported 2024 gift, not evidence of a recurring annual contribution.

What is publicly known about Verret’s perspective?
The foundation history includes statements from Jordan Spieth about service and the people who shaped the family’s charitable priorities. It does not provide a direct quote from Verret, so those remarks should not be attributed to her.
Spieth says the foundation’s approach reflects values he and Verret shared while growing up: “Annie and I both grew up with the idea that doing for others should always be a cornerstone of how we act and the choices we make.” The foundation also credits Verret’s role in adding pediatric cancer to its work, giving a concrete picture of her contribution without suggesting a broader public biography than official sources support.
