The schedule therefore had three distinct phases after Decision Day: three weekly aftermath episodes through March 27, two reunion episodes in April, and a later status-update special. The gap between the reunion installments and the special is part of the listed broadcast timeline; it does not make the special a numbered regular episode.
Why did Lifetime keep airing episodes?
The official listings establish what followed Decision Day and describe the focus of those installments. They do not explain why Lifetime or the production company chose that schedule. The careful answer is that the season’s broadcast plan included additional post-decision story and reunion programming—not that a documented ratings goal, production delay, or particular cast event caused it.

The distinction matters because Decision Day resolves the couples’ immediate experiment, but it does not necessarily capture what happens as they act on that decision. Lifetime’s description for “Second Time’s the Charm?” says, “Most of our couples continue to navigate life after Decision Day.” That is the network’s episode synopsis, not a statement from a cast member.

The March episodes followed the couples beyond their decisions, focusing on second thoughts, complications, and changes in everyday life. They extend the season’s relationship story rather than serving as reunion specials.

The two Denver Reunion installments brought the cast back to revisit season events. They aired on April 10 and April 17, 2024, according to Lifetime’s guide.
Follow-up special
Where Are They Now: To Hurt or to Heal aired April 24. Lifetime lists it as a special, separately from the regular episode sequence, so it is more precise to call it the season’s final listed follow-up than simply another main-season episode.
