Samara Saraiva is identified in entertainment coverage as Damon Wayans Jr.’s wife. TV Insider reports that they have been married since 2016, though the exact wedding date and location are not established in the reporting cited here. Saraiva keeps a low public profile, and reliable details about her personal background and occupation are limited.
Who is Samara Saraiva?
Saraiva is the woman entertainment coverage identifies as the wife of actor and comedian Damon Wayans Jr. Beyond that relationship, publicly reliable biographical information is sparse. A profile reviewing claims about her cautions against treating low-authority biography pages or records about people with the same name as proof of her identity or history.

In particular, the available reporting does not reliably establish her age, birthplace, education, nationality, ethnicity, religion, net worth, or occupation. Claims describing her as a businesswoman, entrepreneur, or fashion professional should not be treated as confirmed without stronger sourcing.
When did Damon Wayans Jr. and Samara Saraiva marry?
TV Insider reports that Wayans Jr. and Saraiva have been married since 2016. That source supports the reported year, but not a specific legal wedding date or location. The year should therefore not be mistaken for an independently verified marriage record.

How did they meet?
ComingSoon attributes an account of their first meeting to Wayans Jr.’s 2020 interview: he said they met at a dinner in Miami, where others were trying to set him up with Saraiva’s cousin. In the account, he and Saraiva spoke but did not immediately connect. This is a secondary outlet’s summary of his interview, rather than a direct account from Saraiva.
What is known about their family?
TV Insider reports that Wayans Jr. and Saraiva have four children together, and that he has two children with Aja Metoyer. Published accounts of the family are not consistent, so these figures are best understood as that outlet’s reporting rather than an unqualified, independently confirmed count.

Have they appeared together in public?
TV Insider notes that Saraiva and Wayans Jr. attended the 56th NAACP Image Awards together. The appearance shows they have been seen publicly as a couple; it does not establish that Saraiva regularly seeks media attention.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why is there so little information about Saraiva?
The reliable material available about Saraiva centers mainly on her relationship with Wayans Jr. The reviewed coverage does not provide a well-supported first-person interview with her, an official biography, or a primary marriage record. That limited public record is a reason to distinguish reported relationship details from unverified biography, not to fill gaps with claims based on similarly named people or unsourced profiles.
