How did Chadwick Boseman and Simone Ledward Boseman meet?
They met at the Hollywood Bowl in August 2014. Ledward Boseman was working as an events executive, while Boseman was appearing with D’Angelo at a James Brown tribute concert. They began dating after meeting and moved in together about two years later, according to The Guardian.
When did they marry?
The couple began discussing marriage in 2016, after Boseman’s cancer diagnosis, and became engaged in autumn 2019. They married before his death in 2020. The Washington Post obituary also reports that he married Taylor Simone Ledward shortly before he died.
