The most recent documented report on the surviving truck from the original The Fall Guy television series is dated April 30, 2024. It places the vehicle with collector Kevin Webb in Tennessee, restored to street-legal condition and used for driving and car show appearances. No newer report that we can tie to this truck confirms where it is in October 2026, so Webb’s ownership should be read as the last reported status, not a verified present-day location.
Two other vehicles are often confused with it: a movie-related GMC K2500 that sold at auction in August 2025, and a range of replicas and die-cast models. Each is covered below.
What the 2024 report says about the series truck
The report, published by American Cars and Racing on April 30, 2024, describes a truck that Webb had restored to run and drive on the road. It also says he had taken the vehicle to auto shows, and it attributes to the reporting that this was believed to be the only surviving truck from the show. That last point is a belief stated in a single 2024 article, not a census of surviving vehicles, so it should be read as attributed rather than established.
What the report cannot tell you is where the truck is today. A 2024 ownership report does not confirm a 2026 address, a sale, or a change of hands, and nothing in the material available for this article supplies one.

Which “Fall Guy truck” is meant
Most confusion comes from the fact that several vehicles carry the same name. The table separates them by provenance, which is the first thing to check when a source mentions a Fall Guy truck.
| Vehicle | Provenance | Key details | Date and source | Current location |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Surviving series truck | Used on the original TV series | Restored for road use; reported as believed to be the only surviving series truck | Reported April 30, 2024 (American Cars and Racing) | Reported with Kevin Webb in Tennessee; not confirmed for 2026 |
| Movie-related GMC K2500 | Connected to the Fall Guy film, not the TV series; the auction listing is titled as a 1981 Sierra Grande | Winning bid displayed as $90,000 | Sold August 23, 2025 (Kraft Auctions listing) | Not stated: the listing does not identify the buyer or post-sale destination, and does not establish it is the same truck as Webb’s |
| Full-size replica for sale | Replica; not original series provenance | 1984 GMC Sierra Grande with rebuilt 350 engine, six-inch lift, brush guard, Warn winch | ClassicCars.com listing (undated in the material reviewed) | Not stated; listing only |
| Replica for hire | Replica; not original series provenance | 1984 GMC Sierra replica | Star Car Hire listing (undated in the material reviewed) | Retford, Nottinghamshire, UK, per the listing |
| 1:64 die-cast model | Collectible; not a vehicle | 1982 GMC K-2500 Fall Guy pickup, including a “dirty” version | Outback Toys product listing | Not applicable |
The auction vehicle and the series truck are not the same vehicle unless a source explicitly says so. Treat any claim that links them as unsupported until it is documented.

The configuration of the original truck
An enthusiast reference on the series vehicle (fallguy.ch, “Der eigentliche Star der Serie – GMC Sierra Grande”) identifies the early-season hero truck as a 1982 GMC K-2500 in Sierra Grande trim with a long wheelbase. It notes that the first two-part episode used a 1980 model and that newer vehicles, up to 1986, were used later in the run. The commonly cited configuration is therefore a 1982 K-2500, but it was not the only truck the production used.
The same reference lists these characteristic features:
Recommended Free Tools
- 5.7-liter (350 cubic-inch) V8 engine
- TH350 automatic transmission
- Four-wheel drive
- Dual fuel tanks
- Brown-and-gold paint
- Chrome wheels and large Dick Cepek tires
- Roll bar with four lights
- Front guard with lights and a Warn winch
The reference also says stunt trucks could differ considerably, including modifications for weight distribution and safety. These details describe the commonly cited hero configuration, not every surviving truck, replica, or stunt vehicle. A truck that matches some of these features is not thereby proven to be a series vehicle.
Replicas and collectibles
Replicas and models are easy to find, but none of them is the full-size surviving series truck. Each is worth checking on its own terms.

- Openable Parts: The doors can be opened, allowing you to appreciate the interior detailing of this highly detailed collectible.
- Pullback Action: The model is equipped with a pullback motor, enabling you to experience the thrill of watching it race across surfaces.

Full-size replicas
Listings for tribute builds describe the modifications their builders made, which are not the same as the original configuration. The ClassicCars.com listing for a 1984 GMC Sierra Grande replica, for example, describes a rebuilt 350 engine, a six-inch lift, a brush guard, and a Warn winch. Those are the listing’s claims about one build, and they do not establish series provenance.
Hire vehicles
Star Car Hire advertises a 1984 GMC Sierra replica for hire in Retford, Nottinghamshire. It is a replica available for events, not a route to the original truck.

Die-cast models
Outback Toys lists a 1:64 scale 1982 GMC K-2500 Fall Guy pickup, including a “dirty” version. It is a collectible model and is useful for identifying the series configuration, but it is not a vehicle and says nothing about the location of the full-size truck.

When a source names a specific truck, these checks separate a documented claim from a hopeful one:
- Provenance: Does the source say the vehicle was used on the TV series, appeared in the 2024 film, or is a replica or model?
- Year and configuration: Does it name a model year and equipment that match the series reference, and does it allow for stunt-truck differences?
- Date of the report: Is the location or ownership claim recent, and does it say when it was last verified?
- Ownership chain: Does a named owner, auction result, or sale record connect the vehicle to the claim?
- Current location: Is there a source for where the vehicle is now, or only a past report?
What remains unverified
Three points cannot be established from the available sources. The first is whether Kevin Webb’s truck is still in Tennessee in 2026. The second is whether the August 2025 auction vehicle is the same truck as Webb’s, or where it went after the sale. The third is the exact number of original series trucks that survive, since the 2024 report’s “only surviving” statement is an attributed belief. Any new report on these questions should be checked against the provenance and date checks above before it is repeated.
The auction price of $90,000 is a single result for the movie-related vehicle. It is not a market value for the original series truck.
